On Sunday 6th November at 3pm there will be an All Souls Service at St James, Abinger Common.

The service will be quiet and contemplative, to remember with love and affection those who have died and whose memories we still honour and treasure.

Names will be read out and candles may be lit to remind us of the light with which they enriched and still enrich our lives.

All are most welcome to attend and after the service refreshments will be offered providing a time in which to share memories and bring consolation and comfort to one another.

Kia will light a candle and give a blessing for all those names that we have previously had listed for past services. The list will be placed near the altar but those names will not be read out.

Those attending will be invited on arrival to write down the name of loved ones whose names will be read out during the service.

If you have recently lost a loved one and cannot attend the service but would like their name read out, please let Sally at the Parish Office know.
